Roselle Park councilman and 2014 Republican mayoral candidate Michael Yakubov today received a “conditional dismissal” of charges of theft and criminal mischief stemming from an October arrest for stealing his opponent’s campaign sign.

“Given the circumstances of this case, we believed that only a dismissal would be the proper result for Mr. Yakubov,” said Yakubov’s attorney Ernesto Cerimele of Krovatin Klingeman in Newark.
